The Wellness 95% meat line of products is (almost) meat and nothing but the meat. It's good stuff, but note that it's only guaranteed to have 8% protein. That's around 1/3 of what's typical in dog foods.

So it makes a great picker-upper for dry food. And I mix powdered medicines and supplements into wet, stinky foods and then serve them by themself if it's not mealtime, or I go ahead and add in kibble.

I don't buy the beef as often as I do the other Wellness 95% meats because my dogs tend to get beef in other foods I give them.

I do recommend it, though!

My dogs both have heart conditions and are on a special prescription dog food. They are not crazy about the taste of it, but when you mix the Wellness food along with it they gobble it up. I like that the Wellness brand has such healthy ingredients I don't worry about what they are getting in their food and better yet, what they aren't getting.

Wellness products are healthy and nutritious with few additives. Dogs love the product. Great for pets with sensitive systems.

This is a great 95% meat add-in to the normal kibble and canned foods. It smells good and the dogs love it.

Pros: Real Beef without any additives or by-products
