I add this to my dogs food a few times a month to aid their digestion of nutrients in their food. They go crazy for it!!! Give it a try. This is a good company with quality products.

I knew nothing about this until one of my Greyhounds had intestinal cancer (which we didn't know until later), but trying to get him to eat...just a nightmare. Poor guy was getting so thin when we were working on trying to turn him around, can't even express the anguish we were going through with him trying to keep some weight on him while we were figuring out what was wrong. The green can of yucky stuff really helped us out. Maybe some folks don't fine it repulsive but it hit me and my husband that way. Unfortunately we lost that hound because it turned out to be some sort of genetic intestinal issue (we call it cancer but it was not certain) that we couldn't beat. :(
But I have used the 'green tripe' for coaxing sick hounds many times since then and it never lets me down. (and never fails to turn my stomach). Truly proof that to dogs, stinkier is better. A little goes a long way, you can just rub some over the kibble and quite often that is all you need.

Pros: Can Keep Around For Just In Case Situations. Dogs Love It.

Cons: It is repulsive smelling!

I have not tried this but heard that is works well for your older pet and those with very sensitive stomaches.

Green tripe is great nutrition for dogs. However, our dogs just didn't care for it.

Cons: Some dogs just don't like it.

This product is like the rest of Solid Gold. Great for your dog, has a appealing taste, and is pretty reasonably priced. They don't sell this everywhere so you will have to call around. It's worth it and I recommend Solid Gold to everybody!
