Our shelter uses lullabies,children's type, and I feel it calms the dogs down. There seems to be less barking, so less stress for the dogs. I have had dogs stressed over thunderstorms, or fireworks, and turning on soft music will calm them down.

Sounds really weird

I've never heard of this so im not going to judge, but this sounds really weird to use music, but reading some of the reviews apparently it works, so maybe i will try it on my dog who is terrified of storms.
Pros: Easy
