Calm those high anxiety animals
posted 7 years ago
These drops are really easy to use and do help some. I have an anxious old german shepherd that is blind and these do "take the edge off" for him.
Cons: not as effective as i would like

Bach isn't known just for music

Bach Remedies can be found at almost any natural food store or online. There are many diffferent kinds used to help many different emotional conditions of animals, and they can be mixed with each other to help produce whatever is needed. I use them on my animals at home, and we use them with great success on some of the animals at our shelter-all with very positive results!
Pros: Non-toxic, work wonders, ease of use, lots of choice
Cons: Need someone who knows their "stuff" to get the right mixture or choice

Homeopathy came into vogue a couple hundred years ago when the allopathic physicians were dispensing *toxic* compounds. At that time, homeopathy was the slightly better alternative, albeit ineffective. Now people want to feel like they're doing something for their pet. Controlled studies show that homeopathy is no better than placebo- Placebos have their place but not if they keep a pet from getting real vet care when they need it.
