Dog just loves these

posted 5 years ago

Our breeder recommended these we can also get them at a meat shop, he spends a long time trying to get the marrow out & keeps him entertained for hours. He is really focused on getting the marrow out of the bone.

Pros: good for him

Cons: does make a bit of a mess

Keeps 'em busy

Great for a good chewer who you need to keep occupied for a little while. We use them when, for example, the plumber is coming over. After your dog has cleaned out the marrow, they'll have a bone to chew for a few days. Just be careful if your dog gets them broken in half - their could be a choking risk. (Note: Don't cook them! Serve them raw. Cooking weakens the bone and increases risk of choking.)

Pros: Awesome. Long-lasting. Dog's love them.

Cons: Some choking risk
