These are Okay But...
posted 6 years ago
I guess it's okay to purchase a blanket for your dog but another idea is this...go to a fabric store and buy some soft fabric in a big print or just a plain color and make the blanket as big as you need for your animals, stitch all ends of the fabric for a hem and there you go! We have 3 dogs and they each have their own blankets they love. We just got a new puppy and I got her some fabric that looks like it's for a female child in pinks, etc. and she'll use that until it becomes tattered and needs replacing.
They have such great fabrics now to use and it's very easy to do.
We have a lady not too far from our home and I get their name embroidered on their blankets. Really cute!
Pros: These might be okay for some but...read below.
Cons: These don't clean up well at all. They get too hard after washing

Dog cozy, bed clean
posted 6 years ago
We wanted something that would protect our duvet from a sometimes dirty dog, but we wanted it to be comfortable for her and nice looking. Orvis' dog products are of the highest quality, so we spent the money to get one of their fleece lined microsuede blankets. Works great. Has kept the bed clean and the dog cozy. It is really warm too :) As for cleaning, it requires delicate setting on the dryer, which means it takes ages to dry...
Pros: Ultra soft and looks nice
Cons: not easy to clean
