Somewhat Effective

posted 5 years ago

This is a cream version of Bitter Apple that's supposed to deter dogs from chewing on furniture, wires & plastic objects. it could probably be used in conjunction with training methods very effectively. Some dogs don't like the smell and some don't have a problem with it. I'm not sure you would be wise in slathering this on your good furniture.

Pros: pump bottle, easy to apply, somewhat effective

Cons: messy, doesn't work for all dogs
