A bit better

posted 6 years ago

BItter tastes are sometimes teh only way to prevent a puppy from chewing something if you cant watch exactly what they are doing 100% of the time. this is helpful, but sometimes they dont care about teh flavor once it wears off a bit. Sold at basically any pet store

Pros: works well for puppies

Cons: those puppies it doesnt work on

Only helps a little

posted 6 years ago

I use this to stop chewing and licking at paws and sometimes to stop dogs from chewing things (like the fake berries on a christmas decoration.) Only works for a few minutes at best. My Christmas decoration no longer has fake berries.

Pros: Chewing stops for short time

Cons: Doesn't really stop behavior

Twisted dog

posted 6 years ago

I have tried several products but apparently my dog has no taste buds because none of the bitter flavored products I have tried seem to stop his chewing.

Pros: works for most dogs

Cons: doesn't work for my dog
