Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, is a great place, full of great people and terrific trainers like John Garcia. They do much for so many animals in a beautiful place but as this great book will tell, their struggle to get the place off the ground was long and hard but I think they would agree it was worth it.

I was fortunate to be able to visit the sanctuary a couple of years ago when staying in Las Vegas. I also was given the opportunity to meet with Faith, one of the original founders. A gracious person who took a great deal of time to offer me advice and talk about what they do. I read the book and after meeting Faith I was truly revived. We can do this! I recommend reading the book and visiting this haven in Utah. Their stories cannot truly give justice to what these folks do. They remind me of the old pioneers...a small band of people in the middle of unforgiving country making a difference!
