Kuranda Dog Beds

These beds have worked great at the shelter where I volunteer. They keep the dogs up off of the cold floors, and they're easy to clean. The dogs really love them. Dogs that are chewers can definitely do quite a bit of damage to the legs over time, but Kuranda does sell replacement parts, so they beds almost never have to be thrown out, just fixed with new parts.

Pros: comfortable and durable

Cons: not indestructible

I bought a couple of these beds for the shelter I volunteer at--they work so well especially for the dogs who chew up regular beds and blankets. Gets the dog off the cold floor and make it much easier for the workers to clean the beds and kennels. The shelter has many now--in all sizes.
