Orthopedic Dog Bed With Waterproof Liner

Foster & Smith Orthopedic/Waterproof Dog Bed
posted 7 years ago
The orthopedic foam in these beds seem to help with the dogs mobility. The waterproof liners greatly extend the life of the bed - the foam stays fresh smelling and the cover and liner are easily cleaned. They are vulnerable to wear and tear, however; the covers wear out after a year or so and the liners develop cracks, eventually affecting their ability to repel liquid. Both cover and liner are expensive to replace - about as much as buying a whole new bed. But since they prolong the life of the foam core, and as such keep them out of the landfill longer, it makes sense to spend the money on the replacement parts.
Pros: Extended life of mattress, easily cleaned
Cons: Waterproof liner cracks after time, replacements are expensive
