Great for concrete floor homes

posted 6 years ago

Our pound has these, and a great donor is adding one a month until every run is supplied. Since the floor slopes slightly for drainage, the beds do slide around once dogs have discovered the non-skid bottoms of the legs. However, most dogs will use them anyway. They are just the right height for both puppies and seniors, plus for medium sized dogs. Sounds like The Three Bears, doesn't it?

Pros: easy to clean, good looking, not too high for seniors

Cons: Slick on floors after dogs chew off the leg bottoms!

Great for shelter use

posted 6 years ago

Our shelter uses them and people love to donate them. It elevates dog off of concrete floor, but plastic hammock not very comfy and blankets need to be provided anyway.

Pros: elevates dog

Cons: plastic not comfy

Great for the dog kennels at the shelter!!!!

posted 6 years ago

We had a couple of these at the shelter, and the dogs seemed to like them - like a little hammock. Easy to clean when spraying the kennels and durable! Great for older sore dogs - suspends them - rather than having to lay on the hard ground/crate with a blanket:)

Pros: Great for older sore dogs - so they don't have to lay on the ground...

Cons: none

Heavy duty beds...creature comfort

posted 6 years ago

We have been fortunate to have some of these donated to the shelter and I am impressed by the quality of their construction. PVC framing is heavy-duty and the canopy part is thick and tough. As far as I know, we haven't had any destroyed by an animal. They are easy to clean and lightweight to move. I see the dogs using them so they must be comfortable.

Pros: Heavy duty, makes a great gift to a shelter

Cons: we can always use more

Comfy for Shelter Dogs

posted 6 years ago

These beds are used at the shelter to keep the dogs off the cold cement floors. The dogs seem to love them and appreciate being off the floor. The material on these beds is very durable. These beds are a wonderful investment for shelters.

Pros: Very Durable

Cons: None
