Mammoth Dog Beds

I bought a bed for my Golden Retriever - it arrived 12/22/10, yesterday on 1/3/11 he managed to chew it to pieces - I phoned the so called customer support and a recording said no one would be at work until 1/5/11 and not to leave a message so I emailed instead. Today I have received a stream of email messages getting increasingly less helpful until the final one said it was my fault for not supervising the dog properly - I was in the house in another room - am I supposed to sit and watch over him the whole day long? I would strongly advise anyone thinking of buying a dog bed from this company to look elsewhere - the other bad reviews on this site reflect my exact same experience and I wish I had read them before ordering. I am most upset by the poor customer service - let your friends know - don't order from Mammoth

We bought this bed for our giant standard poodle in May. The inner lining ripped within a couple weeks. The manufacturer made us pay shipping to have a new lining sent. The outer canvass cover, touted by the manufacturer to be so tough, is all torn up around the velcro. The bed looked fine for about a month or so. It has looked like junk ever since. The velcro has completely ripped off in places. I have been careful to wash according to directions, but it doesn't matter. I wish I didn't waste my money on this bed.
