we used these on our bassest hound that got down in the back and was dragging his feet. It helped keep his feet warmer since the circulation was not very good, and helped protect the foot when he dragged the back legs while in the house on our wood floor.

I bought my dog a pair of these boots when we would go for winter walks and they did tend to slip of after a while. I like the concept!!
