My daughter read these books when she was younger. She enjoyed all the stories and characters. Any 'horse crazy' girl would enjoy them. These are great for the younger crowd...age 8-12. But teens might become a little bored with the predictable plots. However, my daughter still has them on her bookshelf! I would purchase these again.

A usually interesting show on DK Kids. Sometimes I watch it with my little sister. It's kind of funny, but eventually you can predict what's going to happen, because, like any other TV show, it has only so many epsiodes. I think it's a good show for 6- 10 year old horse lovers.

This is a good series for young horse lovers. It has good characters and a somewhat interesting plot. It is a little predictable, especially if you read more than one book, but that doesn't really matter to a young audience.
