Puppy Mill Dog

I bought this for myself, even though it's for kids ages 5 and up, because I collect Keeshond books. I love both the story and the illustrations. I love the happy ending! For the adults the last page is about puppy mills and gives organizations and web sites about conditions at these sad places. This is a great book written by Jan Zita Grover and illustrated by Nancy Lane.
Pros: teaches empathy
Cons: none at all
