Pet Mate Fresh Flow Water Fountain

I prefer not to use the filter in the unit and I really can't explain why except that it slows the water flow down. My cats love to drink their water out of this thing. They're moderately priced in comparison to other brands and we're very satisfied with the exception of the clogging that occurs at the bottom where the water is brought back up.

It must be cleaned daily or it gets scummy and clogs up.

Other than what I've mentioned, we have no problems with it at all. It is an awesome product and we love it!

Cons: clogs up at the base

All of my cats drink so much more water now that I have this fountain, which is always something you want to see. Even scooping their litter box each day is less offensive because they are drinking more water.

Pros: running water vs. sitting to stagnate

Cons: a bit hard to clean the hard water residue from filter area
