I got this for my cat because although my dog and my cat get along just fine, my dog tends to drink all the water and spill and make a mess while I'm gone. I'm only gone for work but still. Well I got this to give it a try and my dog is sort of scared of it. He just won't go anywhere near it. The cat on the other hand loves it just like it promises. She is so interested in it and because the dog doesn't like it I now know the cat has water all day long. Before I got this I'd come home and see the empty water bowls and feel bad and wonder how long the cat had to go without. Now I don't have to worry anymore, the cat always has water. It is kind of cool how it works. I recommend this product.
