Drink Well

If your cats show an interest in drinking dripping water they will love this! I have two cats who love it...and one who won't look at it. But, I am glad my two "boys" like it because it is said that the urinary problems that males get might be helped by more water consumption on their part. Definitely can't hurt and they really really use it and don't bug me at the bathroom sink nearly as often wanting me to have the faucet drip.

I won't lie thoug--the cleaning is a bit of a drag, but not terribly difficult. But definitely needs to be done weekly.

You can also run the Drinkwell without the filter if you don't want the added expense of the filter which I think needs replacing monthly. Granted the bowl gets slimy quicker and the water won't be as pure, but it's an option.

Pros: Cats drink more water, cats won't bug you at the faucet

Cons: Expensive, cleaning it can be cumbersome

I love this fountain, and my kitties love it too! The running water is relaxing for both me and my kitties.
I had the Petmate fountain - which I did not like at all. It was a pain to clean, and it got dirty and cloudy easily.
This fountain is a breeze to clean (albeit the pump), it pumps more water, and has accessories such as the pet grass (which my kitties love too!)

Pros: fresh moving water intices my kittes into wanting to drink more water, helping their urinary tracts stay free from possible crystal formation.

Cons: It's a pain to clean the pump
