(4.3 out of 5, based on 9 reviews)

Give your cat a daily dose of the vitamins, minerals and taurine she needs. Felovite II is a great-tasting, tuna-flavored supplement that's easy to serve. Just place some on a spoon and your finger and let your cat lick it off. Suggested usage: for kittens, 1/2 level teaspoon daily; for adult cats one level teaspoon daily. 2.5 oz.

This is great to hide pills in

posted 5 years ago

I use felovite to get my cat to take his pills. He loves it so much he comes and begs for his pill every day.
If you have a cat who needs pills regularly, this is SO much nicer than sitting on top of the cat and forcing a pill down his throat. Just smear a bit of felovite on the pill, present to cat and let him eat it.
- Oh, yeah, it also has vitamins and other good stuff in it... but what I really use is the flavor that can hide pills.

- My other cat won't touch it of course... so it's obviously a matter of personal taste too - or she just has a better memory for things associated with nasty pills.

Pros: My cat loves it

Cons: you can only give half a teaspoon per day

Health wise it's vet recommended, but taste wise...

posted 5 years ago

I gave this to my cat who died of cancer, other sick cats and healthy cats. On most of my cats, I have to put it on their fur for them to ingest it. The ones who are sick are already in enough distress, but to have to put this sticky stuff on their fur doesn't seem right. They need to make this product taste better.

Pros: Great as a mineral and vitamin supplement

Cons: Most of my cats don't like it.
