Prevent feline leukemia

posted 7 years ago

Leukocell is THE prevention vaccine for cats. It is made by Pfizer who we love, since they do SO much for the health of animals. It is a simple injection that needs repeating every year for maximum effectiveness.

Feline leukemia is a deadly disease. There is no cure and no treatment. Death usually comes within a few years after diagnosis by accident, or within months of diagnosis due to symptoms. It can be transmitted to cats through grooming, sharing of water bowls, etc. Highly contagious. Approximately 3% of cats have feline leukemia.

Pros: Prevent feline leukemia in your cat!

Cons: None

Get it once, when they're young

posted 6 years ago

One of my cats grew a tumor as a result of multiple vaccines. It sounds like the leukemia is the most likely culprit. As a result, my outdoor cats will get it once when they are young and that's it. Most animals are way over-vaccinated.

Pros: prevents feline leukemia

Cons: can cause cancer

I have 3 cats and they love this food. They eat less and walk away with a full belly. Eating less means pooping less and less litter. All around a great choice for my cats.
