DOSE: Inject one 1 mL dose subcutaneously using aseptic technique. Repeat in 3 to 4 weeks. Annual revaccination with a single dose of vaccine is recommended. INFOVAX-ID® System The INFOVAX-ID® System provides a simple and effective method of recording pertinent information on the vaccines administered to animals in a veterinary practice. For vaccines requiring reconstitution, remove label from both vials and affix both labels to the animal's medical chart. Using the INFOVAX-ID® System: Grasp the lower right hand corner of the tab at the arrow marked "Peel Here" between your thumb and forefinger (figure 1). Pull steadily at a slight upward angle until the top portion of the label is separated from the vial (figure 2). Place the label on the animal's medical chart. Press down on the label to ensure adhesion.

Must have for kittens

posted 5 years ago

We had the hemorragic calici virus at our shelter that killed many of our kittens. It was terrible.
One of the vets recommended we use this vaccine for our kittens. We have no other kitten deaths since then.

Pros: Kitten shots

Cons: none

Calcivax is saving our cat's lives

posted 5 years ago

The hemorrhagic strain of the calici virus hit our shelter hard this past summer. We had no idea why our cats and kittens were dying until one of our wonderful vets diagnosed the problem. Since then we always provide the Fel-O-Vx IV with Calici to our cats and we have not had a problem since. We are a living experiment that this vaccination works!

A cat or kitten could be fine one hour and be deathly sick the next. It hits that fast and that hard!

For other shelters, please consider buying this vaccination BEFORE this strain hits your shelter. And it will hit your shelter eventually!

Pros: Provide protection against the hemorrhagic strain of calici

Cons: None

I have 3 cats and they love this food. They eat less and walk away with a full belly. Eating less means pooping less and less litter. All around a great choice for my cats.
