This stuff is a dream-come-true
posted 4 years ago
My cats *love* Pet Greens Live Pet Grass. I recently wrote a review for Cat Grass, which is basically the same thing, except you grow it yourself. I said in that review that I like this stuff a lot better because it's so much more convenient. This product is about $1 more, but I think it's worth it for how easy it is.
The only thing I don't like is that it is kind of expensive for how long it lasts. My cats can go through one of these in about two days (I have 5 cats). Cats do need some kind of vegetation besides what they can really get from normal cat food, and they like to chew on blades of grass. I read somewhere that it does something to aid in their digestion; I don't really recall. Anyway, this stuff definitely does the trick, and they seem to prefer it to my flowers, which is great for me. I highly recommend this product and pick up a new one around once a week.
Pros: My cats go nuts for this stuff, and leave my flowers alone!
Cons: Kinda pricey; doesn't last long

Helps with upset tummies
posted 4 years ago
Also known as wheat grass or cat grass. It is suggested that pet grass helps decrease constipation and help calm an upset tummy.
Many dogs enjoy munching grass occasionally. Having some in your house ensures that it is not coated with chemicals!
Easy to take care of. Seems to be pretty tasty to dogs!
Pros: Can buy and grow at home/Renewable resource
Cons: None

Cats have pretty much ignored it
posted 4 years ago
I bought this for my cats the other day. Whenever I take them for a walk outside, they're constantly eating grass or dried weeds or anything. That's why I'm surprised that after the initial curiousity, they've ignored it. well, I'll keep it watered for a while and see if they change their minds.
Pros: organic, no additives
Cons: easy to tip over

How to make a cat happy
posted 4 years ago
Mr. Kitty loves, loves, loves this grass. If he is not chewing on it, he is laying by it. If you walk near his grass, he is definately going to observe to see what you are doing with it. I buy a new grass every month and kitty and I are very pleased with the product. :)
Pros: Healthy
Cons: Watering level

Cat Treats
posted 4 years ago
If you don't have pet grass at hand, this may be a better alternative than having your cats chew on house plants. I think they help a bit with digestion. Our cat likes them but isn't overly fond of them and prefers crunchy treats.
Pros: Made with Wheat Grass, lower fat content than other treats
Cons: Cat prefers crunchier treats
