My cats like the Snack 21 fish treats, but the herring steaks treats are not on their list of favorites. They much prefer the salmon or whiting. The snack 21 treats are healthy and inexpensive. I will be purchasing more Snack 21 treats, but will not get the herring steaks again. I will stick to salmon.

My cats love fish and I can't get them to eat these. Even my hoover, Nilla, won't touch these. The neighbor's outdoor cat who is always hungry won't eat these.
I believe there was no market research conducted with actual cats.
I feel these treats -which were pricey- were a total waste of money

Cons: Stink, bad texture, go uneaten, waste of money

These are awesome! If you're squeamish, you might want to steer clear, though, as they are little pieces of real herring with spine, etc. in tact. The cat goes absolutely nuts for them. They do reek, so don't break them out when you have a houseful of people, but otherwise a winner!

Pros: Cat loves them, funny tricks to be had
