Shrimp Nip

ALL my kitties love these treats. They are all natural, which is good for my kitty with the allergies. Plus they have two of kitties' favorite things, fish and catnip. They are basically just little freeze dried shrimp. They are only a little bit crunchy so they are easy to eat too.

These treats are by Smarty Kat and come in the familiar resealable purple and white pouch. The treats look just like little shrimp--the package says they are freeze dried shrimp. You are supposed to bag to evenly coat the treats with the catnip. But, the catnip was irrelevant here, I would say. Love those shrimp. They were kind of stinky, so I transferred them into one of those disposable Rubbermaid containers and tossed them on the shelf. I was not gone long--when I returned I found the container demolished and shrimp treats scattered all over the kitchen floor and the cat just gorging himself. I don't know if he would ever have stopped himself. They now have to be stored in a tightly sealed canister.

Pros: very good taste

Cons: fishy smelling
