By reducing tartar buildup and plaque you can help keep your cat's teeth healthy. Scientific studies demonstrate that Pounce Tartar Control can help reduce tartar buildup. Feed it as a treat, or mix with food! Since Pounce Tartar Control is 100% nutritionally complete for maintenance, it can replace part of your cat's regular diet. Packed in resealable pouches to keep treats at their crunchy best. Feeding Instructions For optimal results, feed your cat:6 to 8 lb. cat, 14 to 18 pieces per dayGreater than 8 lb. cat, 18 plus 2 for each lb. over 8 Nutritional Claim: Animal feeding tests using AAFCO procedures substantiate that this product provides complete and balanced nutrition for maintenance of an adult cat.

If you *heart* your cat

posted 3 years ago

This crunchy treat comes in a shape that will appeal to people who like to give their cats a little of their heart. This is the only type of treat that my foster would eat and my Girls liked them enough to pose for the photo. I don't know if they can upset a cat's system because I never give a cat more then 2 or 3 treats in a single day

Pros: Helps to clean teeth between brushing

Cons: Treats can be fattening

Good

posted 4 years ago

We don't use treats a lot, but I do try to use the tartar versions when possible. The cats don't know the difference; they just know they taste good

Pros: taste

Cons: none
