I have had several foster kittens that lost their mothers. Granted I have had only singles - but they have all started out as 2 weeks old and done very well on this product.

Pros: I haven't lost a kitten yet. A lot easier to feed than the mixed powder.

Cons: I wish they came in 6 packs

It's the lazy man's way to get the kitten replacer milk. Never the less, sometimes it's the only KMR available - and even in this pricier, not as practical form, KMR is a better alternative than some of the other stuff on the shelves.

I've used several kitten milk replacer products over the years. I've even, at one point, was desperate enough to read the labels on lamb milk replacer at a Farm supply. But when I've been able to get KMR I've noticed that the kittens grew faster, were healthier, and seemed to fill up better. I think it must be pretty good stuff. The biggest thing is that it doesn't keep very long and you end up having to toss a lot when the kittens aren't cooperating. The powder stuff keeps longer than the already mixed stuff though. Once you open a can, you have to refrigerate it and dispose of it within about 24 hours.

Easy to use and easy to clean up. Best product there is because there is no powder to clean up afterwards. Kittens also seem to love the taste of this product over others-take it from a long time foster parent.

Cons: Not as good as their mothers milk also cost

KMR is great I haved used it with kittens and it has worked well.It is very easy to mix and the kittens love it.

I used this when I nursed my kitten. It is a great product. I definitly recommend this over any other milk replacements and definitly over Hartz.
