Works as Advertised

posted 5 years ago

I bought 300 feet of this fence in an attempt to pacify my one free-range cat who previously had the run of my 4 acres and then some. I was constantly stressing out about the road -- Big Kitten was constantly getting in cat fights and we also have coyotes in the area. As expected, he's not at all pleased with the fencing, and as soon as I can afford more, I'm going to try to expand the fenced area. Currently, he spends a good portion of his outside time, just pacing the fence line, looking for holes or sitting on the porch. But, for the two cats who were formerly indoor only -- they LOVE it. And, it's great to see them have the pleasure of getting outside.

The fencing is as advertised -- very secure -- I can't honestly see how any cat could escape. One of Big Kitten's "friends" came calling the other day and, though there was a lot of noise and carrying-on, neither cat could cross the fence.

I don't think the fencing is quite as easy to set up as I anticipated -- it's not really difficult, but it is labor intensive. And, I'm also not sure how portable it really is -- I guess I'll find that out when I attempt to expand it!

But, all in all, though it's really quite an expensive product, I would definitely recommend it for anyone who wants to let their cats outside without worrying about their safety.

Pros: My Cats Love It -- Especially the Cats Who Were Formerly Indoor Only

Cons: It's not cheap!

Cats are Happy and Safe

posted 5 years ago

After losing one of our cats to the road and confronting 2 coyotes in our backyard, we knew that something had to be done.... we tried making our cats stay indoors, but they were miserable and we were very upset.... We "cat fenced" the yard and now the cats are happy, safe, and secure.they cannot get out and the bad guys don't come in. Purrfect Fence has literally changed our lives. This is an amazing product. I heartily recommend Purrfect Fence to anyone who loves their cats.

Pros: Cats Cannot Escape

Cons: None

Purrfect Fence made my cats much happier!

posted 5 years ago

I live in a second floor apartment near forest lands where there are coyotes, bobcats, mountain lions, racoons and possums, all of which can kill cat. A small horse was attacked by a mountain lion last week just a few miles from here. The road from the freeway into town is a few yards from the front of the apartment building, too. My cats and I are very with the Purrfect fence on our balcony. The cats line up in front of the balcony door every morning to go outside. I have planted a kitty garden in a containers and keep a 3' x 2' strip of sod on a large piece of plasticl on the balcony. The cats love it out there, chasing bugs and sunning themselves. Although they have an indoor cat box, they seem to wait til they get outdoors to use the cat box on the balcony. Maybe they noticed that the apartment smells nicer when the go outside. This is a great addition to our home and I highly recommend it.

Pros: Keeps my cats safe and happy outdoors

Cons: Even my landlord said he likes the fence

My cat loves this

This product is amazing. You can put this up very easily and let your cats out in your yard to play and get exercise. Its a safe way to let your cats outside, but keeps them safe from predators and from running out loose. This would be a great item for any cat shelter.

Pros: Everything

Cons: Nothing

I have the video for this purrfect fence system, and i want one! After watching the video, it answered alot of the questions i had. I would reccommend it for anyone who lives in the city close to roads or just for the safety of the cats. The price is really to much through, I know i could never aford it.

Pros: protection, confinement,peace of mind
