I started using the bells on my pets when the pregnant stray I adopted gave birth a couple weeks after she came to my home. Putting bells on the kittens helped me keep track of them when they were old enough to wander around on their own. I have kept the bells on them, it helps me locate them and know who is who when I can't see them (when they are in the other room, at night), they all have bells that sounds a little different. I also like having bells on cats that go outside (mine don't) because I read that native bird species have come under pressure from pet cats.

This bell will let you know where your cat is all the time. It is good quality and lasts and lasts. If you have an active cat night cat you might need ear plugs.
