My dad bought my cats some of these sponge balls recently. They are colorful, fun for people (haha!) and extremely durable. However, all of that is not helpful if the cats will not play with them. My cats were not amused and did not even check them out - they were thoroughly bored with them. I was so disappointed because the sponges balls are cute and colorful. I am not saying that no one's cats would like them - I guess it is a matter of taste with pets just like with people. These were just not my cats' cup of tea!

We bought a bunch of these for the cats but after some time of biting and clawing these the pieces started coming loose on them and they deteriorate pretty quickly. Ok to get them...just monitor them and throw them away when they start to come apart.

My kitties love these balls.They are very durable and the gang loves to bat them around the house.
