Great toy for kitty to annoy its humans with
posted 4 years ago
From a cat's point of view, this is a fairly fun toy, but the cat will eventually lose interest once it goes under a piece of furniture or into a corner and no longer rolls. Don't have too many out at one time if you wish to avoid hearing the kitty version of "Jingle Bells".
If the careless human doesn't watch its step, then these toys can be crushed underfoot and create sharp, plastic fragments that the cat can choke on, or swallow the bell once it is released from its cage.
Kittens enjoy these more than adult cats, but play with kittens under supervision and keep count of them in order to avoid choking hazards from broken pieces.
Pros: Cats like to hear the jingle of the bell--humans don't when asleep
Cons: Easily stepped on by humans and broken into sharp fragments

Jingle bells
posted 4 years ago
Kittles has a ball with these. The only problem is that most of the time when he decides to play with them, it is in the middle of the night.
He runs so fast through the house and bangs into the wall to corner the ball and then flings it with his paw. I've actually been socked in the head an woken up out of a sound sleep. Once the shock went away, all I could do is laugh.
These seem to be very durable as none have ever broken by him swatting or throwing them around. In fact, the only ones that have broken are ones my husband or I stepped. Oops, time to get some more!
Pros: Kittles has fun
Cons: Sometimes he wakes us up

What a waste
posted 4 years ago
None of my cats play with these. I've tried throwing them across the room, I've tried rolling them on the floor, but the cats simply don't care. I don't know if these balls are just too big or too loud, but my cats refuse to play with them.
Pros: none :(
Cons: too big & loud

Not a Favorite

My kitty does not like these at all. However, he does not like any balls, other than tin foil balls, so I am not sure if it is an issue with these balls or just balls in general.
If your kitty likes to play with balls, these might be an option as they are inexpensive.
Pros: Inexpensive
Cons: My kitty does not like them

Good for rabbits too!
posted 4 years ago
These are cheap, fun toys for bunnies too! Both of my rabbits enjoy playing with them, and I've never had one break during play.
They are easy to find at any pet store, are cheap, and last long enough for what you pay for them.
Pros: good size for bunnies too
Cons: none
