Hubby and me bought this for my daughter's kitten, Spot, for Christmas.

It takes quite a bit of space so she put it off to the side in the dining room. Once Spot saw it, he started batting at the toys and really seemed to enjoy it.

However, it was not as sturdy as we would have thought and it kept moving. It did get quite annoying having to get up and keep moving it back to where my daughter wanted it.

Since Spot is only a kitten, and was able to move this as he did, I would strongly say that this is definitely not something intended for an older cat.

I was disappointed with this. For the space that it requires you would think that they would have made it more stable. It is a great idea since indoor cats need exercise and cat nip is a great motivator, but when this moves around it scares my cats and they run away from it.

Cons: unstable, takes up space

Cats love these things. However, if you don't have alot of place to put it, it can get very anoying. It slips around a little bit when the cats play with it and you want to make sure that if you get up in the middle of the night that it's not going to be right in the way. Tripping in the dark is not fun.

Pros: very fun for the cats

Cons: but unless you have a good place to put it, it gets in the way
