ID Your Kitty & Help The Handocapped, too
posted 4 years ago
If you want to buyh a tag for your pet just once in it's life, but it from Pet Tags, because they guarentee it for life from defects or LOSE. if your pet losses it, they replace it-FREE. The tags are hand made by handicapped persons, so you are helping to employ the handicapped as well as getting a tag for your pet. The tags come in plastic, stainless steel, brass, & 24K plated gold. The plastic come in Looney Tunes, tye-dye, 9 Day Bright colors or 8 Super Reflective colors. They also carry collars and leashes. Tags are only $6.99each with$1.00 for S&H. They can be purchased by mail(pickup order blanks at all most all vet offices), by fax(1-800-404-8247), phone((1-800-227-4260 phone lines open 24/7), or online at Pettags.Com. Go to the website and see the tags for yourself. You'll see why this is the onlt place I have bought my tags for new pets (and my daughter's stuff animals-yes, her stuffies must have proper ID, too-lol) for years. The tags come with an "S" hook for attachment to your collar.
So help your pet to a great tag and help keep the handicapped employed at the same time. It will do your pet and your heart good!
Pros: So Many Styles to Choose From& Life Time Guarentee
Cons: None

Order from BoomerangTags.com instead
posted 3 years ago
Here's the thing, I've ordered from these "pettags" people twice over the past 5 years. I am not a fan. Each time, it took nearly 3 weeks for my order to arrive - not cool. Then, the tags just weren't durable at all. I have 3 dogs: malamute, black lab, and toy chihuahua. The bigger, outdoor dogs always managed to ding up their tags and one even lost the tag altogether. Half the tags on their site looks like junk to me, anyways.
Last year, I discovered BoomerangTags.com after a referral from a friend. They have a "collar tag" that goes right on the collar. I'd seen things like this before, but the ones they have are infinitely better. They even have one that goes on my harnesses for the big malamute when he rides in the back of my truck. These tags are guaranteed to last the life of the pet - period, no shipping charges or anything - not that I expect to ever need one replaced.
Pros: variety, colors
Cons: durability stinks

I Enjoy These Tags
posted 4 years ago
I have a tag for Mr. Kitty and my dog Lily. Mr. Kitty is my only baby right now that has a tag because she is the only one that likes to go outside. My puppy has one because I am very paranoid that if someone steals her we will never find her. We absolutely love these tags they are absolutely amazing. They have a pretty nice selection of tags and they are easy and quick to do by yourself or you can order them. They cost between 5 and 10 dollars depending on what tag you are getting. I am going to invest in one for all of my cats.
Pros: quite necessary
Cons: n/a

A must for Every Cat
posted 4 years ago
I think all cats should have an id tag on their collar. this would save many lives as we know that cats often get out of houses and become lost. Because most are skittish you never know where they will go or who will find them.
I also recommend microchipping your cat.
Beware that not all id tags are of the same quality and sadly sometimes the writing wears thin and it's impossible to see what the tag says.
Pros: Helps ID cats
Cons: some are not as good quality

Good thing
posted 4 years ago
I have ids on my dogs, but my cats are inside and I don't like to have collars on them, don't want them to hang themselves. But when they are transported I do put collars on and having these cute little tags are great for that purpose. Since I don't use them that much they have been holding up well, so not totally sure about the durability if I don't use them as much as other people do.
Pros: Good to Id pets
Cons: Dont' like my cats to wear collars
