Synovi-Feline for Cats, 240 gm Granules SKU: 015DVM07-240 [printable] DVM (Granules - 60 scoop size) Multi-supplement combining glucosamine*, MSM*, creatine*, taurine, omega-3 fatty acids*, antioxidants, vitamins and minerals. Synovi-Feline is a complete feline wellness supplement specially designed with key vitamins, nutrients, protein and fiber for the nutritional needs of cats of all ages. Synovi-feline contains fiber to maintain digestive regularity, proteins to enhance muscle mass and antioxidants to combat the damaging effects of free radicals. Also supplemented with calcium phosphorus and manganese sulfate for healthy reproductive systems, growth and development. Why supplement cats with Synovi-feline versus a dog supplement? • Cats have much higher protein requirements than dogs. • Cats require taurine in their diet, whereas dogs do not. • Cats cannot convert B-carotene, present in plants, to vitamin A as can dogs, and therefore they must consume pre-formed vitamin A, which is only present in animal tissue. GUARANTEED ANALYSIS (per 4 gm scoop): crude protein not less than 6.0% crude fat not less than 9.0% crude fiber not more than 25.0% moisture not more than 15.0% calcium (as calcium phosphate) not less than 0.2% phosphorus (as calcium phosphate) not less than 0.2% taurine not less than 50 mg vitamin A not less than 500 IU vitamin E not less than 12.5 IU

Great product, my silly cat wouldn't eat it

posted 6 years ago

I have seen great results with the supplement. It really works. However, my stubborn geriatric cat would not touch the stuff. I am not sure if she was exceptionally picky and just disliked this brand, or if other have had trouble getting their cats to eat it. I was really disappointed because I was desperate to help alleviate her hip pain which I suspect was caused by arthritis. I finally searched around and through a hit or miss process got her to eat a different brand of the same type of nutrient supplements. I would recommend this to others with the caution that my cat disliked it. It may be worth checking out other testimonials and reviews to see if my cat was just stubborn and picky or if others have had this problem. If it is not a widespread problem I would say give it a try.

Pros: really works and alleviates arthirtis pain in older cats

Cons: my picky cat wouldn't eat it

I have 3 cats and they love this food. They eat less and walk away with a full belly. Eating less means pooping less and less litter. All around a great choice for my cats.
