Glyco-Flex Cat II Stage II, 45 Tablets SKU: 015VS-9445.4 [printable] By Vetri-Science Glyco-Flex II is a nutritional joint supplement for cats throughout their lives. Excellent for all aging breeds that have predisposed problems. The perna canaliculus used Glyco-Flex® II for cats is produced by freeze-drying the entire mussel (excluding the shell) of the perna mussel from New Zealand. The product also contains glucosamine, manganese and methylsulfonylmethane. Contains all major classes of glycosaminoglycans (GAGs) including chondroitin -4- and -6- sulfates. GAGs are referred to as the "glue of life" and make up the core of all connective tissue. Perna is also rich in amino acids, naturally chelated minerals, numerous enzymes, vitamins, and nucleic acids (RNA and DNA). An exceptional nutritional supplement for the maintenance of connective tissues including joints, synovial fluid, tendons, ligaments, and cartilage. Active Ingredients per tablet (Glyco-Flex® II for cats): perna canaliculus (green lipped mussel) 300 mg methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) 250 mg glucosamine hcl 250 mg N,N-dimethylglycine hcl 50 mg manganese (as manganese amino acid chelate) 5 mg

A good Product.

posted 4 years ago

I usually have this product shipped to me because, if the shipping is free, I can get it cheaper. Since I give Glyco-Flex to quite a few pets I usually get enough to get the free shipping (like orders over 100.00 or whatever).

I do think they have less joint discomfort, but of course I can't tell for sure since I keep them on it all of the time. I do however have two cats that are nearing 20 and are still moving around very well so I am thinking this is helping.

Pros: Easy to Give, Animals Like It

Cons: A Little Pricey For Giving To A Large Number of Pets.
