Easy to treat cats with this tasty treat
posted 5 years ago
I purchased this because my husband's male cats had had urinary problems previously. I was pleasantly suprised when I first attempted to get our cats to 'take' this medicine.
Each tablet is appoximately the diameter of a dime and less than 1/4" thick. Upon suggestion of a sales person at the pet food store, I break the tablets in quarters. My cats actually love the taste of these tablets. I normally break up 3 or 4 of these and split them up among my six cats. For a more finicky cat, you can also crush these caplets between two spoons and sprinkle on wet food.
I love that there are not a lot of fillers in this product and it is full of natural, holistic herbs.
Pros: Easy to feed cats
Cons: Not available at all pet stores

This product really works
posted 5 years ago
I have found this product to work very well. My cat had blocked twice and it cost us over $2,500 to unblock him. Of course, he did so on holiday weekends, so the emergency clinic was where we went. Each time, they warned he must be on a special diet like Hill's C/D. He doesn't like those, so would refuse to eat. Since he is on a very healthful diet anyway, we decided to try an acidifying supplement. I researched many, including straight cranberry extract, vitamin C, and such, but found this to be the best. I even bought a pH meter to test him and this product brought his urine pH down from an unhealthy alkaline 7.4 to 6.6 in a week. He has 2 in the morning, 2 at night. What is really good about it is he can be on this long term, as it doesn't have echincea in it like some of the other supplements for cats do. The slippery elm bark also assists in soothing inflammed male cat urethras which makes it good treatment for cats who have urinary tract issues, even if they don't block.
Pros: It works. My cat has blocked 2 times, but not since using this product!
Cons: On an empty stomach, he occasionally throws it up, due to the acidity, but after eating he never has

Works?

My male cat has been blocked twice. This was very costly, but saved his life both times. I also have to purchase expensive food and watch what kind of litter I purchase. I also give him these pills. I'm assuming they help since we haven't had a reoccurance.
Pros: I'm assuming it works
Cons: none
