Missing Link for Cats, 6 oz SKU: 015DHI-C8 [printable] Targets the gap between nature and commercial feed. All-natural, no artificial fillers, colors, flavors or preservatives. Perfect compliment to low-fat diets, by reintroducing the beneficial fats necessary for energy and normal weight maintenance. Unique blend of ingredients is cold processed, which ensures product freshness without preservatives and combines the benefits of naturally occurring Omega-3 and Omega-6 essential fatty acids for healthy skin and coat and balanced energy levels; enzymes and probiotics (beneficial bacteria) to maintain normal digestion; fiber for bowel health; phytonutrients; and traces of various vitamins and minerals important for overall health and well being. Because Missing Link is formulated with food, not synthetics, there is no risk of over-supplementation and is free of preservatives, fillers, gluten, cholesterol, artificial flavorings and colors. Missing Link is a granular powder that is easily sprinkled on your animal’s regular food daily, according to its weight. As with any high fiber product, start with small amounts and gradually increase to the recommended level over a week or two. Some animals may benefit even more if their Missing Link is doubled for the first 90 days following the adjustment period. The daily intake can be divided into two or more servings if desired. Your animal will love the taste and you’ll love the results! Refrigerate after opening. Ingredients: flax seed, blackstrap molasses, rice bran, primary dried yeast, freeze dried liver, sunflower seed, dehydrated alfalfa, dried carrot, freeze dried bone, dried fish meal, freeze dried oyster, sprouted green barley, dried kelp, lecithin, garlic and yucca schidigera extract. 6 oz. is approximately a 3-month supply for an average size cat. This is a good supplement for your cats

posted 5 years ago

I purchased Missing Link as one of my cats had blood in their stool. We were given Fortiflora from the Vet. which was very expensive. I tried the Missing Link and it alleviated the blood in the stool problem. It is a good supplement to give to all cats and can be purchased in most pet stores. I have also bought it on line drom Drs. Foster and Smith.

Pros: Affordable, can mix into wet cat food

Cons: Need to keep this is in the refrdidgerator after it has been opened

Cats wouldn't eat food with this product on it

posted 5 years ago

I added this granular product to all three cats' canned food. None of my cats would eat the canned food once I sprinkled the Missing Link on it. They completely refused and I tried multiple times. Finally I gave up and once the Missing Link was no longer sprinkled in the canned food, they went back to eating it again. I ended up throwing the bag of Missing Link out. I'm disappointed because I really wanted to see if it provided any results.

Pros: Beneficial product if the pet will eat the food with Missing Link on it

Cons: Cats refused food with it

Iams ProActive Health Multi-Cat Chicken & Salmon Cat Food

I have 3 cats and they love this food. They eat less and walk away with a full belly. Eating less means pooping less and less litter. All around a great choice for my cats.
