Great for digestive health!

posted 4 years ago

I have been using this product for a few months now and I have been very pleased with the results! I have a multicat household and have many foster cats coming and going in my home. Many of the foster cats come to me with digestive issues, whether caused by stress, diet change, medications such as antibiotics, or any number of intestinal parasites/bacterias. I have used this powder for cats and kittens, and you can also use it for dogs. I typically use a little less than the recommended dose, which is 1/4 tsp daily for cats. I usually give a rounded 1/8 tsp daily and within a few days, they start to form normal stools as opposed to watery, loose, or ploppy stools....I have mixed the powder with wet food or just sprinkled it on their dry food and even my pickiest eaters have eaten it without protest. The company recommends moistening dry food with a few drops of water so the powder will stick to the kibbles and not the bottom of the food dish. I first found this product at our natural pet food store in town, but they don't always have it in stock. I was able to find it for cheaper on Amazon. Last time I purchased the 100g size bottle but this time I am going to purchase the larger 300g bottle. I found the cost to be reasonable, considering the dose is so small and the expiration date usually lasts for about 2 years. I have been working on using up the 100g bottle for a few months, keeping in mind I don't use it for all the cats daily, just the ones who are having GI distress. I would recommend this product to anyone!

Pros: works great, is healthy and natural

Cons: availability-have only found in specialty pet food store and online
