Handy and effective, the Miracle Coat waterless shampoo is especially useful for cleaning cats with physical limitations.

I hate to blow-dry and style my own hair. If I had hair all over my body and had to do the job with an inch-wide tongue, you'd seldom catch me in a tub of water. I might, however, be willing to submit to a full-body mousse massage, towel drying, and quick brushing instead. In other words, a foaming waterless shampoo.
My cat Cobweb underwent a procedure last year to cure her hyperthyroidism. As a result, she has dry skin and increased shedding. Considering her arthritis, I wouldn’t subject her to a tub bath, but a waterless shampoo could be helpful. I had some reservations about dousing her in this Miracle Coat foam without her consent. After all, I learned a long time ago that there is no escaping your own hair. One morning in junior high, I borrowed my best friend’s Aqua Net, and the smell of it gagged me all day.
With this in mind, I bathed only one small area of Cobweb’s body as a test run. When I sprayed it on her shoulder and back area, she fussed a bit, but relaxed and even enjoyed it as I massaged the shampoo in. After a quick towel drying and brushing, the fur dried within minutes. It retained a hint of herbal scent but she didn’t even try to lick it off. The next day, the scent was almost imperceptible, so I shampooed on. The fur became softer, the dry flakes were gone, and stayed gone for a few days.
I can't wait to try the Miracle Coat on my Maine Coon, the Wookie. Imagine what this waterless shampoo could do for him, his Star Wars namesake, or any furry, dander-laden creature who wants to avoid the trauma of a traditional bath.
Pros: For cats with increased shedding or difficulties grooming themselves, the Miracle Coat waterless shampoo is an ideal fit. And the pleasing smell is mild enough not to cause a frenzied self-bath attempt.
Cons: Cats might become anxious when shampooed, but the quick-drying formula keeps grooming time at a minimum.
