My cats seem to like these cardboard scratchers. The catnip will attract most cats. My cat, Gracie, had liked to scratch wallpaper off the walls in the kitchen. Now she prefers the scratchers. You can even be creative and attach a feathery toy to it.

Cats have to scratch—anyone with a cat cannot deny that, they all need to exercise those claws and their foot muscles. This behavior doesn't always complement our furniture. This double wide scratcher is perfect for more than one cat. I have 6 so it works well for me. My cats love to smell the catnip as they scratch and strech. There is also a hanging toy on the bottom side that they play with. This scratcher will help save furniture.

I've been using these Cosmic cardboard scratchers for about five years now. All of my cats use them frequently, although only my current youngest cats were aroused by the catnip sprinkled on the ramp. I like that it is inexpensive, lightweight and doesn't take up much room in my kitchen. The only downside is that the corrugated cardboard shreddings are messier than sisal scratchers (but that's what brooms are for!)

All of my cats love these. I think it is the incline that lets them stretch out. I also like that when the cardboard wears down, you can turn it over, and then eventually replace with new. The cardboard holder doesn't wear out.
