A Fairly Good "Cheap" Scoop

posted 5 years ago

Since I have litter boxes in several places upstairs and downstairs of my house, I need to have an ample supply of litter scoops. I found these scoops priced at two for $3.00 and bought four to have more available (which come in handy between sterilization of often-used scoops).

The scoop's handle is a little short, but I found the "body" and sifting area large enough and quite functional. The scoop, overall, was easy to handle. The high sides aid in sifting the scoopable litter without wasting a lot of "unused" litter or making a "mess". The plastic edges seem somewhat sturdier than the flexible sifting area, which should help keep the scoop functional, although most plastic scoops have the tendency to eventually break.

A "good buy" for $1.50 each.

Pros: Inexpensive; High Sides; Works Well With Scoopable Litter

Cons: Short Handle; Flimsy Plastic In Sifting Area
