Clinically proven to end urine marking within 30 days with a 95% success rate. Feliway uses a synthetic form of these feel-good pheromones as a way to help stop cats from urine marking and scratching. It can also be sprayed on surfaces such as carriers, bedding, new furniture and more, to help reassure the cat in unfamiliar surroundings or situations. The Feliway Starter Kit contains a bottle of Feliway, as well as an instructional video and brochure.Ingredients: Analogue of feline facial pheromones 10%, ethanol (90%) 77.6%, excipents to 75 ml.Do not spray Feliway on pets!To stop urine marking, Comfort Zone with Feliway should be sprayed directly onto the places soiled by the cat and also on prominent objects that could be attractive to the cat. A single dose (one depression of the nozzle) should be applied daily at about 10 cm (4") from the site, keeping the bottle vertical. The spray should be applied at a height of about 20 cm (8") from the floor. Maintenance treatment of each site is recommended once weekly after the cat is observed rubbing the site with its head and marking it with its own facial pheromones. Where this is not observed, treatment should be continued for one month.

It worked for us

posted 6 years ago

We had a cat that would get jelous of another one and would pee on the bed blankets or couch cushions. After cleaning both items and adding solvents meant to destroy odors, he would mark them all over again. I cleaned the items for the last time and then sprayed with feliway. He sniffed and loved the smell! It seemed to make him content and it does have a calming effect on cats. The marking stopped after a month of continued application.

If I see the tension occur between the 2 cats I will occasionally reaply the areas as a precaution. It may have worked for me because my cat only marked occasionally. Most of the time the 2 cats just avoided each other, but when they had issues, the one would mark.

If you use too much, the smell may be over powering for you and your cat. You do not need to use a lot even on large areas!

Pros: Worked for territorial marking

Cons: Don't over spray!

I have 3 cats and they love this food. They eat less and walk away with a full belly. Eating less means pooping less and less litter. All around a great choice for my cats.
