Laxatone - Tuna Flavor, Hairball Remedy, 2.5 oz SKU: 009T01-2.5T [printable] From the makers of Nutri-Stat and Nutri-Cal. Tuna flavored laxative for the elimination and prevention of hair balls Ingredients: tuna flavored: white petrolatum usp, light mineral oil nf, corn syrup, malt syrup, soybean oil, cane molasses, water, gelatin by-products, sodium benzoate, (preservative) iron proteinate, natural and artificial flavors. Directions: Place a small amount of Laxatone on animal’s nose or paws to stimulate interest. Dosage: Cats - for hair balls - 1/2 to 1 teaspoonful for 2 to 3 days then 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoonful for 2 to 3 times a week. Cat & Kitten>Hairball Remedies

This stuff rocks

I've tried many hairball remedies. This is the only one that all of my cats will eat without forcing it on them. And it actually seems to work. They love the tuna flavor.

Pros: Taste, hairball removal

Cons: runny

Laxatone lubricant for cats

I use this lubricant constantly. Especially with my long haired cat who is very prone to hairballs. I give a small amount to him every third day. He laps it right up from the plate. I've also used it for cats who are constipated and as a result not eating well. I found it to be very effective and works within a few days.

Pros: cats generally love the flavor, long lasting, economical

Cons: can be messy when you apply to paws
