This play structure gets a lot of use, and was a pretty inexpensive purchase for the amount of hours that it has been used. The kittens love to climb it, explore the different levels, and pounce through the circular openings. My older cats enjoy sleeping on the very top "roof". The pink hanging toys did not stay attached to the structure for very long.

My cats did tend to the use the portion of the structure with a mesh fabric more like a scratching post. The nylon fabric has a few claw pin pricks in it, but overall the structure has held up well. Be careful when you move it as the plastic rods can come out of the attachment corner brackets. This can lead to instability when a cat jumps on it and it wobbles.

Initially, this was pretty interesting. But, it didn’t last long. My cat is a very big guy and there was no way he felt comfortable enough to climb on it. He did wander through it a little and use it as a hiding area when he was stalking the string I was dragging for him to play with. But, that was about it. It takes up quite a bit of room, so it moved on to my sister’s house. She now has a new kitten that is using the jungle gym. He is, obviously, a smaller guy and has been climbing all over it—even on top of it. So, I guess I would give it a qualified recommendation—for smaller cats only.

This is a great item. My cats love to play on, around, and with this. They love to hide inside and behind. My little girl kitty's favorite thing about this is the top. I put her favorite blanket on top, and this is now her throne! Definately her favorite place in the house!

I inherited this cat contraption from my sister when her older cats lost interest. My older cats, likewise, weren’t very interested in it – even when I’d tempt them by dangling catnip mice and other toys inside. I do have a young male now, about 7 months old, who goes crazy playing with this. In fact, he is so rough, that I periodically have to reassemble it as he knocks the connecting tubes apart. I think this is another one of those cat toys that cats grow out of – just like kids!

I have seen this item in the stor and I have not bought because of the size. I think my cat would love it.
