This is a brand that Banfield vets at Petsmart sell. It is very effective, it's like Frontline in the way it works on cats. Not like Advantix which is way too strong for any animal. The thing I did not like when I used it is the applicator is kind of weird...it's not friendly to the hands like Frontline is.
I think it's very effective though.
Pros: easy to buy
Cons: don't like applicator

Vectra for cats is the best!
posted 5 years ago
This is the Vectra. NOT the Vectra 3D which is for dogs. Vectra for cats is VERY effective. Within 20 minutes I had fleas jumping off my cats (ewww) doing the death dance. I watched in horror totally unaware that my cats had that many fleas. It has killed them off and kept them off. I am over due about 10 days (it is a once a month topical) and still have no fleas.
It has ease of application (the tube is impossible to spill out, the tip is angled to where it will easily slip into the hair and against the skin,) I had no allergic reaction as I have had in the past with others such as loss of hair at the application site, no oily residue and no excess dripping off the sides of the cat's neck driving them crazy! GREAT PRODUCT!
Only available through your veterinarian!
