Tried & failed

posted 5 years ago

The plants didn't get to grow very much before someone knocked this off the shelf & I had a mess to clean up. It was pretty easy to get started (though I dont have much luck with plants) & all seemed well. I think I'll either try to grow catnip outside, or stick to the already dried stuff.

Pros: they like catnip

Cons: my guys knocked it over destroyed

It never grows too big!

posted 4 years ago

I've grown this a number of times, and the scenario never seems to change. My cats all adore it of course, but no matter where I place it,T-Bone just can't leave it alone, and ends up eating it down to nothing,or squashing it so bad that it looks awful.
This doesn't stop me from trying again,as we all know it's the cats that we grow it for to begin with.
A fun experience to share with your Kitties!

Pros: Cats love it

Cons: Cats destroy it before it grows to full potential.

Can't beat fresh catnip

posted 4 years ago

Cats go crazy over the fresh stuff. Catnip is a perennial plant and will come back if you plant it outside...even in the cold Minnesota climate. We have lots of it growing wild in our area.

Pros: Fun treat for your cats

Cons: None
