Can Make a Difference for Some Cats
posted 4 years ago
This is a mixed review. Some cats adapt well to Soft Claws. We have recommended them to families who have scratching issues with their cats. many times it has made the difference in whether or not a cat is surrendered to the shelter.
Unfortunately, not all cats will tolerate them. The can lash out when you try to apply them or chew them off.
Pros: A safer alternative than declawing your cat
Cons: Can be difficult to apply

Great alternative to declawing
posted 5 years ago
if you want to save your furniture and want to forgo the declawing surgery, then these are for you. these caps are glued onto your cats trimmed toenails. They can still stretch out the claws and work them but nothing gets shredded in the process. They usually don't even know that they have them on.
Pros: can be used on all cats, variety of sizes, non-toxic glue
Cons: need to reapply every 4-6 weeks

Humane alternative to declawing
posted 4 years ago
It may be a fight to get them on, but this will definitely protect your furniture without maiming your beloved cat. May need to re-apply every few months. Easiest for cats started at a young age (sometimes even keeps them from scratching forever!), but they also work well on adults.
Pros: Humane and effective
Cons: Sometimes hard to get on.

Prevents scratching
posted 5 years ago
These are great to prevent cats from scratching furniture if you are having a problem with that. You just have to be comfortable trimming your cat's nails and putting these on each nail. If your cat is OK with handling its paws, these are a great option.
Pros: Stops scratching
Cons: Need to keep up with changing them
