I was looking for a pair of pet nail scissors during my weekly trip to Walmart. I wasn't looking to spend a lot of money because I wasn't planning to cut my cat's nails with them. I was looking for a pair soley for the purpose of splitting my cat's blood pressure pills. The pills are very small, and I need to cut them into quarters. Using a knife works to some degree, but it wasn't splitting them evenly enough and in some cases, turned the quarter to powder. My vet office has a pair that they use solely for splitting pills, and I thought I would give it a try. Like other nail scissors, the cutter is curved and you have to make a small allowance for that. Otherwise, it does a wonderful job of splitting pills. The handles are comfortable and have a pinkie grip to help keep things steady.

Cons: None that I know of

These nail clippers need to be a little more shaper and perhaps made of more durable metal. They handle good though.
