Pill Pockets - Salmon Flavor

I tried using these sometime ago with no luck. First your cat must like treats, not all of mine do. However, I thought, what a brilliant idea for the treat lovers. I hid the pill inside, only to have the pill pocket eaten and the pill left on the floor. Tried breaking the pill into smaller pieces and giving in multiple pill pockets, still no luck; just tiny pills on the floor.

Pros: none

Cons: eats the pocket, leaves the pill

Think this a great idea but only worked once with my cats. After the first time of use they caught on rather quickly. One licked the pill pocket portion away leaving the pill in the bowl. The other took it, licked his tongue around and then spit the pill on the floor.

Haven't given up on them yet. Maybe the next time I can pull it off!

Cons: Cat smarter than the pill pocket
