Crushin pills does make it easier to hide the pill without it getting left stuck to the side of the bowl, but some of my cats still detect the pill in the food. It works best to crush pills that arent very bitter-ones that they cant taste too well in the food. (Luckily the hardest cat I have to pill is such a glutton that I could put just about anything in canned food & he'll gobble it down!)

Before I found this pill crusher, I was crushing my cat's pills on a plate with a knife blade. I was not always sure my cat was getting the full dosage since tiny pieces flew everywhere. With this pill crusher, the pieces are contained so I know my cat is getting everything she should. When two cats were taking different pills twice a day, I was concerned that some of the powder was staying in the crusher and being given to the wrong cat so I bought another pill crusher so cross-contamination was no longer a problem.

I am so glad that whoever invented this thing...did!! It is so easy to use and makes it faster. Crush pill and put in can food and youre ready to go! So much easier!

Before my epi dog I thought stuff like this was stupid now that I give 2 diff. meds 2x a day these are life savers. I cant imagine giving meds without them.

I can't imagine not having a pill crusher at the shelter or at home. These are great and turn the pill into a fine powder so its easy to hide in food.
